Having the nursery painted and the babe's dresser redo complete has gotten me so excited to organize Rowan's growing collection of itty bitty leggings, onesies, bibs, and hats. I have been holding off on making some purchases for him until we had some resemblance of organization in his closet, so I have a feeling his collection is going to grow a bit in the next few weeks!
We've bought some little rompers and pants from stores like Baby Gap and H&M Baby, but my absolute favorite so far is Etsy. I thought for sure it would be tough passing up the cute bows (and it definitely is), but there are so many cute things for boys that I wasn't expecting to find!
I also love supporting the small businesses on Etsy, most of which I have found are ladies like me but with much better sewing skills/creative abilities and super cute kiddos of their own.
So today I thought I'd share some of my favorite shops so far and some items that I can't wait to get my hands on!
Alex & Ally
Shop for: Bibs, Teethers, Hats, and Paci Clips
I love all of the fabrics in this shop and the quality is fantastic. Plus her turnaround time is quick if you need something last minute for a baby shower gift! I'm loving the more modern take on bibs with these drool bibs, they look so cute on little boys especially.
Leggings {The Sweetest Thing} (love these too!), Moccasins {Stiches and Soles} |
Sweetest Thing Legging
Shop for: Leggings and knot headbands
I can't wait to get those leggings on our little guy! I love this shop because the leggings are really well made and they are affordable.
My other favorite shops for leggings are: Little Peanut Threads (love these!), Hold You Me (super cute fabrics), and Sugar Plum Baby (leggings + burp clothes)
Stitches and Soles
Shop for: Moccasins
I love these baby moccs! They are so well made, affordable (compared to other moccasins out there), come in tons of color options, and the leather is super soft!
Jon Jon {Classic Stitches STL}, Bubble Romper {Bunnylu Designs} |
Classic Stitches STL and Bunnylu Designs
Shop for: Monogrammed items, Rompers and Jon Jons
It's official, I have a thing for Southern seersucker with monograms. I can't wait to get my hands on these adorable outfits for Rowan!
Mint Green Knot Hat {Little Highbury} |
Little Highbury
Shop for: Baby Hats and headbands
I admit I hate passing up all the cute bows and headbands but the little knot hats are so cute for baby boys. I love all the fabric options in these shops! Also love Beau Hudson for slouchy beanies.
Grey Gingham Closet Dividers {Sew Sweet Stitches Baby} |
Sew Sweet Stitches Baby
Shop For: Fabric closet dividers
I've shared these before but just wanted to mention them again because now that I'm into organizing Rowan's clothes, I love that these are fabric and not plastic. They are really well made and the turnaround time was quick, another great shower gift option!

ReplyDeleteThanks for introducing me to the Alex & Ally shop! They have such a fun modern spin on baby items. I think my favourite has got to be the drool bib in Blueberry!
ReplyDeleteCan I just have the fabric dividers for myself - such a great idea!!
ReplyDeleteSuch cute stuff! I can't wait to see how the baby room looks!
ReplyDeleteOhh going to check all of these shops now!! I think the blueberry drool bib is my favorite from their shop- what cute stuff they have!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely saving this post for the future. Lots of cute finds! I especially love the Stitches and Soles moccasins, they seem like a great alternative to the Freshly Picked mocs. $60 seems a little too much to pay for baby shoes (no matter how adorable).
ReplyDeleteI have lots of friends with adorable little babies to buy for.. thanks for sharing this cute shop!
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of a lot of these shops! I agree Etsy is the best place to shop and support business! I've purchased from a lot of these stores you have listed already!
ReplyDeleteSo many cute things! I love the variety you've found - boys' stuff is just as cute as girl in my opinion (but I couldn't help but think that little mint hat looks like a Kendra Scott jewelry bag ha #win).
ReplyDeleteMy first one was officially due last Thursday...I'm still waiting! Would love the teething ring for him/her! Can't wait to check out the rest of your Etsy suggestions!

ReplyDeleteWe just received the exact same leggings from Sweetest Thing for our seven month old son! Love them! I've gotta say so far the pacifier clips by Alex + Ally have been lifesavers for us. Now that he's older, he loves to take his pacifier out of his mouth and play with it so it usually ends up on the ground. And I agree about Etsy.... it makes it a lot easier to find cute and creative things for little ones. The community there is amazing and actually inspired me to open a little shop selling crochet beanies for mamas + babies. Love this blog and congrats on your little one!
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway and love all the shop recs! I got the same closet dividers in a grey polka dot! I'm going to need to get some of those cute beanies!
ReplyDeleteAlex + Ally have adorable items for the little one! My favorite item would have to be the Beard Natural Wooden Maple Teething Ring. I'm a big fan of Duck Dynasty, and the beards are making a comeback. Adorable!!
ReplyDeleteLove Etsy! I used a lot of it for my wedding....and baby's 1st birthday!
ReplyDeleteAlex and Alley...favorite item...the organic knit swaddle/hat set for newbords.
ReplyDeleteThose teethers are so unique and cute! What a great idea!
